Aikido
Aikido means the way of harmony. In Aikido you use circular energy to redirect incoming force. Aikido is a Japanese martial art that uses locks and throws to disable an attacker. Aikido is noncompetative and emphasizes technique over strength. So you do not require great physical strength or athletic ability to learn Aikido.
An important concept in Aikido is Agatsu - victroy over self, know yourself and your abilities.
The Aikido by the Bay school is affiliated with the Shudokan Aikido Association.
